We require an experienced Chartered Surveyor, either a valuation or Building surveying background, to manage a further three surveyors and an administrator. You will provide specialist general practice and building surveying advice to a host of management and third party clients. The team regularly assist in feasibility studies, administration of tender proposals, project management and administration of building contracts for the construction of new build and extension projects, as well as maintenance and refurbishment (cyclical and ad hoc) programs to blocks of flats, including upgrading and conversions of houses and other purpose built properties.
You will undertake close liaison with Property Managers for our own management clients and provide technical support to them for dealing with statutory consultation procedures they might be required to administer for their clients under current Landlord and Tenant legislation. You or your team will also undertake general practice instructions, including dealing with purchase and sale surveys (condition Home Buyer reports), Party Wall matters, Insurance and Probate valuations, acting as an Expert Witness in litigious matters concerning Landlord and Tenant and Building Construction disputes, as well as many other property related services.
